Sermon Series:
A Time to Build | Message Seven
Joshua 1:9Isaiah 41:10isa
The Bible says "For everything there is a season" (Ecclesiastes 3:1). Join us for this season, and this series, that is all about building: Building community, building a new worship center, building God's Kingdom, and building up one another.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
Psalm 23:4
Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:13-14
Question 1: You don’t have to have heard the sermon from Sunday, but if you were in church, watched online, or listened to the podcast, what stuck with you?
Question 2: God made us to do things that are easy, moderately difficult, or even very hard things. But God did not intend for us to do them alone. As we see from the sample of scriptures above, the Bible is clear that God does difficult things with us. Think of this as a partnership, where God lights our way but we have to walk the path. Question: Whether life is easy, moderately difficult, or very hard, how do you experience God “with you” in your life right now? (Please keep is focused on the present, on the “right now”). What can you do to strengthen your faith see more clearly how God is with you right now?
Question 3: Some things really are impossible for humans. As we see from the sample of scriptures above, the Bible is clear that sometimes God does impossible things for us. Think of this as a rescue (the Bible uses the words “salvation” or “deliverance”), where God in his grace provides everything we need. Question: How have you experienced God doing something impossible for you?
Question 4: Jeremy closed with these two questions, answer these for yourself right now: Where do I need a partnership with God? (Meaning, where do I need God to do something “with me”). Where do I need God to rescue me? (Meaning, where I do need God to do something “for me”). Please answer for yourself, in the present.
